For as long as I can remember I have always found peace in creating things. When I was little I would make cards for every holiday for all my family. Just sit me down with paper and markers and I would draw or create something. I remember getting a Crayola carousel of colored pencils when I was nine from my Aunt and Uncle for Christmas. When I was twelve I gave my other Aunt and Uncle a fully colored 3-D book for their wedding present that I made with my brother. I went through the friendship bracelet stage, beading stage and more recently I have learned to knit, crochet and sew. I am currently learning to embroider.
Now that I have my own
store with
fabrics galore and opportunities to learn and make things I have now gained the confidence to also teach to people using our fabrics. My next
workshop will be on how to make a pillow cover in just one day...well actually less than one day (hopefully). Then I will do a 2-lesson course on how to make an apron.
Here are a few examples of recent things I have
made. I hope you enjoy!
